WHEN THE MASTER SPEAKS
Jesus after he had spent some time training his disciples one day asked them:
"Who do people say that I am?"
Now on this surface this seems like a innocuous question. Jesus ever the one revealing heart motives was a master questioner.
Some disciples took a shot:
Elijah?
Jeremiah?
Prophets of old?
Peter stepped up to the plate once again and took a swing at this hardball question.
"Thou art the Christ! The Son of the LIVING GOD" (King James Version puts some stylish flare in!).
